Jeff Mielcarek

Jeff has a passion for working with Toledo area youth and he has had a real knack for managing and developing athletic organizations and facilities throughout his career. As the Diocesan Director of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) from 1986-2015, Jeff was able to use his managerial skills to grow the program to a high point of 13,000 youth participants while overseeing the fundraising and construction of the Monsignor Schmit CYO Athletic Complex in 1999

In addition to his duties with CYO, Jeff has excelled as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Central Catholic High School since 1987, and in 2012 was instrumental in the planning of Central Catholic’s new baseball complex, Mercy Health Field, where he continues to act as Director of Operations.

Jeff also spends time serving as Business Manager for the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association and has been a high school basketball official for the past 37 years.
